RESCUE, FOSTERING & ADOPTION
I have been lucky enough to foster for Staffy and Bully Breed Rescue iNC (SABBR), s.A.F.E & H.A.A.R.T. BOTH DOGS & CATS. I have had the joy of helping them with fostering prior to rehoming those dogs unlucky enough to find hemselves either in the pound surrendered by owners or born into a life where environmental factors have decided their fate.
Below are two of my past 'Boofas' :- 'DIESEL' who went to his furever home after a few months living in our home, he was very special as he was rescued from the pound after previous owners did not claim him after repeated attempts to get them to collect him. We adored him and he was unusual as he only had three legs - not that it was any kind of disability for him. 'Duke' the Am Staff X puppy was only with us for a few weeks - he was a total cutie heartbreaker and am glad to say he is now in his furever home with a great adoring family, who are totally smitten with him. 'Tegan' a 14 week old staffy x stumpy cattle dog - she WAS a gorgeous little girl WHO WENT TO A HOME IN GERALDTON. WE CURRENTLY HAVE 'TWIGGY' FROM H.A.A.R.T WHO IS A MASTIFF X RIDGEBACK, A VERY SCARED LITTLE LADY WHO IS SLOWLY COMING OUT OF HER SHELL & ARE IN THE PROCESS OF OFFICIALLY ADOPTING 'SKINNY MINNIE' WHO WE RESCUED THROUGH S.A.F.E.
Please support local and national rescue groups throughout Western Australia and other States. Please Adopt NOT Shop - there are hundreds of animals who are waiting for their furever home.
We are seeking the laws to be changed via Oscar's Law and other state laws to ban the sale of dogs and cats in pet shops - this only fuels the puppy mills.
